effortintotheclustergroupandthisisreflectedin
thegreatinteractionbetweentheclubsachieved
duringtheyear.ThegroupincludesRotaryand
Rotaract clubs.
DuringthecourseoftheyearbothBrisbaneandMid
CityClubshavehadanactiveagendaaround
membershipwithpositiveresultsforbothclubs.This
isagoodoutcomeallowingthoseinterestedin
Rotaryawiderselectionofdayandtimefor
meetings.
Asweapproach30Junewefarewellthreemembers.
Oneofourremainingchartermembers,DarylWright
hasfoundthathisworkloadissuchthatitismaking
ithardforhimtoattendmeetingsandmaintainhis
Rotaryconnection.LouiseDavisisalsofindingthe
balancewithherworkloadachallenge.AndMavis
MeyerisgoingtobeawayfromBrisbaneforan
extendedperiod.Wewillmisseachone.
OurClubisfortunatewiththemixanddiversityof
membersthatwehave.Thesessionssuchasthis

is140jumpers.Agreateffortthatwillprobably
resultwithmostfamiliesreceivingonenew
jumper.

JohnandNancyweremarriedfor40yearsanddecidedthey
wantedtorenewtheirvowsandplannedasecondwedding.
Theywerediscussingthedetailswiththeirfriends.Nancy
wasn'tgoingtowearatraditionalbridalgownandshe
starteddescribingthedressshewasplanningtowear.Oneof
herfriendsaskedwhatcolorshoesshehadtogowiththe
dress.
Nancyreplied,"Silver."
Atthatpoint,herhusbandchimedin,"Yep,silver...tomatch
herhair."
Nancy'sfriendsaid,"So,John,Iguessyouaregoingbarefoot
then."
