The 4 Regions of
Texas
Great Plains
Welcome to the Great Plains. It has famous
cities like San Angelo, Austin, midland, Odessa,
and Amarillo .Also resources like wheat, and cotton.
It also has Wildlife such as hogs, sheep, and cattle.
The climate is 15-31 inches of rain per year and hot
summers and and light winters. Vegetation is shrub
grass. The jobs are Farmers, Tailors, and Bakers.
Then the Landforms are the Caprock escarpment,
Balcones fault, Toyah basin, Llano Estacado.
Mountains and Basins
If your state is freezing I would reccomend this region
for you! It only gets eight inches of rain per year. The
landforms in this region are the Guadalupe Mountains, The
Rio Grande River, Chisos Mountain, and Davis Mountain.
The climate is very hot and it has mild winters. The
vegetation in this region is cacti, Mesquite Grass, and
weeds. The major cities are El Paso, Alpine, Marfa,
Presidio, and Terlingua. The natural resources are wheat
and cotton. The jobs in this region that you can become are
a farmer, a tailor, a baker, a teacher, a fireman and a police
officer.

North Central Plains
You should move to the North Central
Plains because it has many beautiful landforms.
You’ll love to see the Caprock Escarpment. The
North Central Plains has hot summers and moderate
winters classic Texas weather. You will also see
many tree variants, though there are not many
animals. There are many resources which means
many chances to get creative! Ever wanted to be an
engineer? Well now you can! Farming and tailoring
are good job options too. I hope you liked this

Coastal Plains
Welcome to The Coastal Plains where you
will find tons of water for fishing and the Coastal
Plains is close to Mexico. I hope you like it. The
Landforms in this region are the Balcones Fault, Rio
Grande River, Balcones Escarpment and colorado
River. The climate is generally warm it gets more
rain than the 3 other regions. The vegetation is Grass,
Pine Trees, vegetables and fruits. The major cities
are Galveston, Houston and Corpus Christi. The
natural resources in this region are Vegetables, grain,
hay, poultry, cattle, corn, oil, fish and helium. The
jobs are farmers, bakers and boat transporter.
