Dear Friend of Animals, Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest

Dear Friend of Animals,
Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal
shelter in North Texas, will host its 20th Annual Dog Day
Afternoon presented by Pet Supplies “Plus” on Saturday,
June 7th from 9am-1pm at Flag Pole Hill at White Rock
Lake! We would like to invite you to be a part of this fun-filled
day created to celebrate dogs!
This annual event is Operation Kindness’ most popular, with
more than 1,000 attendees bringing their dogs for an afternoon
of fun. It includes a doggie mall with vendors, canine contests,
dog-themed entertainment, food and fun. Dog Day Afternoon
is a unique way to get your product or service in front of your
key demographic- dogs and the people who love them!
To help promote Dog Day Afternoon and your business, Operation Kindness has a marketing
campaign that includes a Dog Day Afternoon website (with a vendor listing and sponsor links
and logos), email blasts (4 separate blasts to a database of 30,000 supporters), and Facebook
and Twitter promotion (25,000 likes, 1,500 followers). Our media partner is CBS 11 and they
will be running promotional PSAs to advertise the event. We also put up posters at numerous
local businesses and pass out thousands of fliers at area dog parks.
Please see the following page for our vendor opportunities. Please contact me with any
questions at 972-428-3822 or [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from
you and appreciate your support of Dog Day Afternoon and Operation Kindness!
Sincerely,
Julie Goff
