Gingerbread Man Ten Frames These ten frames are provided to make math practice a little bit more fun and interesting for you and your students during the holiday season, or whenever you choose to use them! Some examples of use are: - Writing equations and building them with manipulatives to match the ten frame. The first ten frame below would be 5 + 5 = 10; the second ten frame below it would be 5 + 4 = 9. - Show the children the ten frame, and have them practice showing you how many fingers it represents. - Play “Go Fish for Ten” with ten frame cards. This plays like the traditional version of Go Fish, but children must try to get two cards that make ten, rather than two matching cards.
