1 Citation and commencement
2 Prescribed period and prescribed day for registration of prospectus and profile statement
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 240(8) and (8A), 282C(10) and (11), 296(6) and (6A)
and 341 of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the
following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments)
(Prescribed Period and Prescribed Day for Registration of Prospectus and Profile Statement)
Regulations 2010 and shall come into operation on 29th March 2010.
Prescribed period and prescribed day for registration of prospectus and profile statement
2.—(1) For the purposes of sections 240(8), 282C(10) and 296(6) of the Act, the prescribed period
shall be the period between the 7th and 21st days (both days inclusive) from the date of lodgment of
the prospectus or profile statement with the Authority.
(2) For the purposes of sections 240(8A), 282C(11) and 296(6A) of the Act, the prescribed day
shall be the 7th day from the date of lodgment of the prospectus or profile statement with the
Authority.
