TOOLS

BAUWERK recommends the ideal temperature for
painting to be 8–30C
PAINT APPLICATORS
The Paint Contractor shall check supplied paint matches
ordered type, amount and is fit for the purpose of
application.
Any variations shall be communicated immediately
before commencement of paint application.
DRYING TIME
Usually around one hour, however in cold weather we
recommend leaving a longer period between coats.
BAUWERK recommends the ideal temperature for
painting to be 8–30 degrees Celsius
HANDLING
COVERAGE
Store away from foodstuffs. Store in a cool,dry place. No
special precautions required.
Approximately 16m2/litre/coat
Recommendations for coverage are to be used as a
guide only, variation in quantity needed will depend on
the porosity of the surface to be painted.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in areas where the material is
used. Wash thoroughly after handling the material.
Remove contaminated clothing after use and before meal
breaks.

PROTECTION

Wear eye protection.
Use rubber gloves and barrier cream.
Wash hands well after handling, especially before
eating
CLEANING
Normal protection for all areas not to be painted, clean
brushes with mild soapy water away from food handling
areas
Do not soak BAUWERK brushes or leave sitting in water
as it damages the natural glues used and may cause
brush to deteriorate.
SPILLAGE
Use sand for spillage, wash with clean water
DISPOSAL
Refer to State Land Waste Management Authority.
Use sand to soak up spills. Allow to dry and scrape off.
FIRST AID
SKIN CONTACT
wash with plenty of soapy water
EYE CONTACT!
Gently flush with running water holding
eyelids open for 15 minutes. Seek medical
attention.
