How to Order Your Canvas or Print

Simply email your image and contact details to [email protected] or post
your picture and we will scan it for you.

Upon receipt of your order we will confirm the price and expected despatch date by
return.

Acceptable file formats: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and PNG (file type need to be equal to or
above 500kb .JPG).

The following enhancements are also available: Colour Enhance, Red Eye Removal,
Dust & Scratch Removal, Date stamp Removal, Photo Restoration, Black & White,
Sepia and Collage.

Select from the following edge (wrap) styles: white, black, colour match, photo edge
or mirrored photo edge (for ‘photo edge’ option, 2 inches of you image will be
wrapped around the edge. Do remember that there is always a slight danger of
losing an important part of the image, but if we feel this is going to happen we will let
you know before we do it.)

Your canvas will be ready for despatch within 2 working days of receiving
confirmation of your order. This allows time for the varnish to harden before it is
packaged.
(Once printed, an order can only be refunded if it was received damaged during
transit.)

Maximum canvas size available is 40” x 72” (please ask for quotation for sizes not listed
below)
Print Services

We take our time making sure each canvas is carefully hand stretched and finished
to the same high standards as our gallery exhibits.

Your image is personally checked and prepared by the big picture gallery’s
professional photographer to ensure the image is suitable for printing. You will be
fully consulted before any printing takes place if an image is unsuitable for the format
or size you have requested.

We also restore badly damaged prints or faded photographs.

Every canvas is varnished with at least 2 coats of Allure matte water based and
odourless veneer giclee varnish to protect your image against moisture and sunlight.

We print from a 44” HP Designjet Photo printer which allows a maximum canvas size
of up to 40” x 72”.

We use 100% bright white cotton inkjet canvas providing neat corners and tighter
stretching.

Our frames are made of 38mm thick pine gallery bars perfectly milled and slowly
machined to make the perfect canvas frame.

All canvasses are white taped on the back and come complete with a hanging kit.

Each corner is finished with a tough plastic canvas tightening wedge providing better
tension.
