• timer
Directions:
1. Print out one copy of the Analyze It! Answer Sheet for each pair of players.
2. Set a timer for 2 minutes.

3. Each pair of players reads each series of words on the answer sheet and
writes another word that contains the target word root on the line. Then
pairs analyze the words to determine the meaning of the root and write
the meaning on the second line. Pairs then continue on to the next series
of words.
4. When the 2 minutes are up, each team compares its answers with the
answer key.
5. The team with the most correct answers wins the game.
