Over the past few years, Volleyball Canada in collaboration with the Coaching Association of Canada, began important work with the goal of modifying the philosophy and the delivery method of coach education within the NCCP. This transition has seen the creation of online modules and other modules now integrated in the Canadian Volleyball coaching curriculum. Several coaches who took training before the start of this transition have contacted their Provincial/Territorial Volleyball Associations, Volleyball Canada or the Coaching Association of Canada inquiring about details of this new approach on their actual status considering credits obtained in the old system. The information in the pages below describes what courses or combination of courses will transfer into the new system. It is important to understand that training acquired in the old NCCP will never be lost, and coaches will be provided credit for work done in the old system. Coaches are not required to start everything from the beginning. ! ! ! 15!March!2017! ! ! Dear Partner, After March 30, 2017 the “Levels” terminology will no longer be used.
