Juicing and Whey Protein The Original INSTANT WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE SUPPLEMENT Nothing tastes better than a fresh glass of juice. Nothing is more satisfying than making your own and knowing exactly what it contains. And it’s a quick and easy way to get the great nutrients of fruits and vegetables. But as much as I love juicing, I found that I would get hungry after a short time, so I started adding a scoop of BiPro to my juice to help fill me up and provide some protein that’s lacking in the juice alone. Juicing also helps me sneak the goodness of vegetables into my teens without them knowing. Even though they are older and know veggies are good for them, they still don’t like to eat them. Putting broccoli, beets or spinach into a glass of juice with their favorite fruits helps them get the vitamins they need without having to “suffer” through eating the vegetable on its own. Here are some of my favorite juicing recipes (directions are at the end): APPLE-CARROT-CELERY 2 small Granny Smith apples, cored 2 carrots 2 stalks celery 1 scoop BiPro PINEAPPLE STRAWBERRY 1/8 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed 1 cup strawberries 1 apple, cored 1 scoop BiPro GREEN GODDESS 2 cups broccoli florets and stalks 1 medium cucumber ½ green pepper, seeds removed 1 cup green grapes 1 scoop BiPro BERRY BLAST 1 cup blueberries 1 cup raspberries ½ cup green grapes ½ medium honeydew melon 1 scoop BiPro VEGGIE COCKTAIL 1 medium beet 2 carrots 2 celery stalks 5 plum tomatoes 1 cup parsley ½ jalapeño, seeds removed 10 radishes 1 scoop BiPro GREEN MELON 1 apple, cored ¼ medium cantaloupe ¼ medium honeydew melon 2 large kale leaves 1 scoop BiPro BiProUSA.com ∙1.877.MyBiPro FRUITY GREEN ¼ large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed 2 large kale leaves 1 cup spinach leaves ½ medium cucumber 4 celery stalks 1 inch piece ginger 1 scoop BiPro ORANGE POM 1 pomegranate, seeds only 2 oranges, peeled 1 apple, cored 1 carrot 1 scoop BiPro The Original INSTANT WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE SUPPLEMENT CRAN-APPLE ¾ cup cranberries, fresh or frozen 3 carrots 2 apples, cored 1 scoop BiPro CUCUMBER COOLER 1 medium cucumber 2 cups green grapes 2 apples, cored ½ lemon, peeled 1 handful fresh mint leaves 1 scoop BiPro ORANGE-CARROT-PINEAPPLE 1 orange, peeled 2 carrots 1/8 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed 1 scoop BiPro ORANGE SUNRISE 2 oranges, peeled 2 kiwi, peeled ½ medium cantaloupe 1 carrot 1 scoop BiPro BEET 2 medium beets 2 carrots 2 small apples, cored 1 scoop BiPro CARROT WHEATGRASS 4 large carrots 1 cup wheatgrass 1 scoop BiPro Directions: 1. And what to do with all the pulp left in your juicer? • • • • • • • • Add vegetable pulp to soups, casseroles or pasta sauce Add up to ½ cup vegetable pulp to meatloaf or burgers Add to salsa Add to cream cheese for bagel spread Add to muffins or quick breads Add to smoothies Use fruit pulp to make “crisp” type desserts Stir fruit pulp into yogurt or use to make frozen yogurt or ice cream (many more ideas can be found online) BiProUSA.com ∙1.877.MyBiPro
