Nothing tastes better than a fresh glass of juice.
Nothing is more satisfying than making your own
and knowing exactly what it contains. And it’s a quick
and easy way to get the great nutrients of fruits and
vegetables. But as much as I love juicing, I found that I
would get hungry after a short time, so I started adding
a scoop of BiPro to my juice to help fill me up and
provide some protein that’s lacking in the juice alone.
Juicing also helps me sneak the goodness of
vegetables into my teens without them knowing. Even
though they are older and know veggies are good for
them, they still don’t like to eat them. Putting broccoli,
beets or spinach into a glass of juice with their favorite
fruits helps them get the vitamins they need without
having to “suffer” through eating the vegetable on its
own.
Here are some of my favorite juicing recipes (directions are at the end):
APPLE-CARROT-CELERY
2 small Granny Smith apples, cored
2 carrots
2 stalks celery
1 scoop BiPro
PINEAPPLE STRAWBERRY
1/8 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed
1 cup strawberries
1 apple, cored
1 scoop BiPro
GREEN GODDESS
2 cups broccoli florets and stalks
1 medium cucumber
½ green pepper, seeds removed
1 cup green grapes
1 scoop BiPro
BERRY BLAST
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
½ cup green grapes
½ medium honeydew melon
1 scoop BiPro
VEGGIE COCKTAIL
1 medium beet
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
5 plum tomatoes
1 cup parsley
½ jalapeño, seeds removed
10 radishes
1 scoop BiPro
GREEN MELON
1 apple, cored
¼ medium cantaloupe
¼ medium honeydew melon
2 large kale leaves
1 scoop BiPro

FRUITY GREEN
¼ large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed

1 cup spinach leaves
½ medium cucumber
4 celery stalks
1 inch piece ginger

1 pomegranate, seeds only
2 oranges, peeled
1 apple, cored

CRAN-APPLE
¾ cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
3 carrots
2 apples, cored
1 scoop BiPro
CUCUMBER COOLER
1 medium cucumber
2 cups green grapes
2 apples, cored
½ lemon, peeled
1 handful fresh mint leaves
1 scoop BiPro
ORANGE-CARROT-PINEAPPLE
1 orange, peeled
2 carrots
1/8 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed
1 scoop BiPro
ORANGE SUNRISE
2 oranges, peeled
2 kiwi, peeled
½ medium cantaloupe
1 carrot
1 scoop BiPro
BEET
2 medium beets
2 carrots
2 small apples, cored
1 scoop BiPro
CARROT WHEATGRASS
4 large carrots
1 cup wheatgrass
1 scoop BiPro
Directions:
1. Juice fruits and vegetables according to manufaturer’s directions.
2. Pour juice into a shaker cup.
3. Add BiPro and shake well.
4. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
5. Each recipe makes 1 serving.
Note: If you are new to juicing, feel free to substitute different fruits or vegetables in the recipes. Be creative
and try your own combinations. Try adding a dash of cinnamon with the BiPro for some added flavor.
And what to do with all the pulp left in your juicer?

Add vegetable pulp to soups, casseroles or pasta sauce
Add up to ½ cup vegetable pulp to meatloaf or burgers
Add to salsa
Add to cream cheese for bagel spread
Add to muffins or quick breads
Add to smoothies
Use fruit pulp to make “crisp” type desserts
Stir fruit pulp into yogurt or use to make frozen yogurt or ice cream
