Camp Dates: June 15-19, 2015 – Ages 9-11
STEM Adventures in Building and Programming
This hands on exploration of engineering and coding combines building with
Legos and programming with software created MIT Media Lab. With building and
programming components including microcomputers, sensors & beamers,
campers will be exposed to a variety of technologies. A whirlwind of cars,
carousels and catapults await!
2 students per Lego™ Kit
Camp Dates: July 20-24, 2015 - Ages 6-8
C.A.K.E. CO., aka Creative Answers Kids Engineering Co.
Receiving daily EWR’s (engineering work request), students work in teams,
learn about robotics, and build & program their own robotic creations using
the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics System. This unique system, designed by the
experts at MIT, teaches students about simple machines, engineering,
programming and so much more. This innovative program allows you to
create your own angry birds. 2 students per Lego™ Kit.
Camp Dates: August 3-7, 2015 - Ages 6-8
Fun-Gineering
Future engineers will use Lego™ Educational kits to learn about the
“building blocks of engineering”. Explore the importance of
levers, gears, pulleys and wheels & axles, in making simple
machines work. Hands-on building activities, including team
challenges develop a clear understanding of these mechanical
principles. Collaboration, cooperation, and critical thinking lead the way to success.
STEM education made fun!
2 students per Lego™ Kit.
Camp Dates: August 10-14, 2015 - Ages 9-11
Awesome Robotics by C.A.K.E. CO.!
Being a member of the Creative Answers Kids Engineering Company, aka,
C.A.K.E. Co. has never been better as campers take building and
programming to the next level. We’ll build our special “mover & shaker”
vehicles and and make them come alive! Using the LEGO® WeDo
Robotics software and two different WeDo Construction sets to build larger
models campers will expand on the principals of engineering and robotics. Our
experience programming robots using drag and drop commands makes this an
awesome adventure!
