Book Report Sandwich
Construct a book report sandwich with information about your book. Using paper
provided complete each section as follows:
 Top slice of bread: Write the title and author of the book. (White or lightbrown paper – cut into the shape of a bread slice)
 Lettuce: Write a brief summary of the plot. (Green paper- designed like
lettuce)
 Tomato Slice: Write a brief biography of the main character, and give a
brief description of their character traits. (Red paper – designed like a
tomato slice)
 Mayonnaise: Describe the book’s setting. Describe where the story takes
place. (White paper)
 Swiss cheese: Share the book’s climax. Describe the most exciting point in
the story. (Yellow paper – designed like a slice of Swiss cheese)
 Ham Slice: Describe the conflict or problem the main character faces. Also
describe how the conflict is resolved. (Pink or purple paper)
 Bottom slice of bread: Draw your favorite scene from the story. (White or
light- brown paper – cut into the shape of a bread slice)
