Publishing rules:
1. Persona is a journal which contains studies on the application of art
therapies, in different contexts (clinical, social, educational, artistic and
communitary). These rules apply for the collaboration in the following
sections:
Research: section dedicated to research proyects in the field of the art
therapies. Including a theoretical framework, a hypothesis and research
conclusions.
The articles will include a summary of the process. In this section only
graduated professionals will publish.
Experiences and applications: section dedicated to sharing different
aspects of the work practice. It may be a narrative of the process, a critical
reflection on specific aspects or a personal reflection on the professional
task.
This section is open for graduated professionals and students to publish.
Art and Social Change: section dedicated to a broad reflection on the
place of art and creativity on the social life. As well as sharing common
experiences that may be enriching. Publishing in this section is also open
for people who are not professionals in the field of art therapies but who
share interests.

2. The articles must be originals and unedited in Europe. In case the articles
have been published elsewhere, there must be an authorization to
reproduce them. The extension for research articles is a minimum of 4
pages and a maximum of 6. For experiences and applications a minimum of
3 and maximum of 5. Art and Social Change a minimum of 2 and a
maximum of 4. Whoever wants to attach images, these will be sent in jpg
format with a minimum resolution of 1,5Mb and a maximum of 3Mb.
3. The magazine will always confirm the reception of the articles which will be
revised by the editorial department, formed by accredited professionals of
the art therapies and at least one member of the scientific committee. The
decision to publish the article will depend on this revision as well as
sugestions to improve the article, in case it was necessary. The editorial
department will contact the authors to communicate the decisions on their
articles and modification in case these are necessary. The published
articles will not be payed. Authors will receive a free copy of the magazine.
4. Once the deadline is reached for receiving material for the next edtion, the
editorial department will decide the final content defining the articles which
will be published in each section according to criteria of originality,
methodological accuracy, intervention ethics, critical sense and literary
quality. These criteria will be appreciated by the editorial department and
the scientific committee. It might happen that an article may be published in
a future edition because some modifications must be made. The deadline
for the autumn edition will be the 15th of June and for the Spring edition the
15th of December.
5. The articles must be sent through email, as attached Word documents,
dinA4 dormat, Times New Roman (12) with spacing of 1,5. The name of the
document will be the title of the article, as well as the section where it´s
considered to be published. Quotes and bibliographic references must be
accurate and must appear as footnotes.
6. All the articles must be in two languages: English and Spanish. Specifying
the original language of the text. The editorial department will revise both
languages.
7. The authors will include in the articles their full name, residence location
and a brief curriculum (2 or 3 lines). As well as an email if they want to.

8. The authors are the solely responsables for the content of the articles and
will be free to publish their texts again as long as it appears that they were
first published in “Persona”.
9. The magazine will be registered with a Creative Commons licence with
which the content will be protected with the format “acknowledgement
without derived work” that allows to copy, distribute and communicate
publicly the work as long as the credits are recognized the same way as
specified by the author; this work cannot be altered or transformed, another
work cannot derive from this one. Any use or distribution of the work must
be stablished clearly in the terms of the license, unless there is permission
form the copyright holder.
