Homeboy Property Acquisition
Purpose
In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (found under 24CFR
Parts 91.105 and 91.505), and our Community Participation Plan, the City
of Los Angeles is required to provide citizens with an opportunity to
comment on all proposed Substantial Amendments to its Housing and
Community Development Consolidated Plan.
Proposed Changes
The purpose of this substantial amendment is to reprogram $550,000 of
unused CDBG funds from a variety of redevelopment and improvement
projects originally assigned to the former Community Redevelopment
Agency of Los Angeles (CRA-LA) proposed in the Program Year 38 (April
1, 2012 – March 31, 2013) Annual Plan to the Homeboy Property
Acquisition project, a neighborhood facility improvement project.
Project Location
The new project is located at 935 North Main Street, Los Angeles, 90012.
Comment Period
HCIDLA will receive public comment on the proposed amendment between
September 22, 2014 and October 22, 2014.
