Product Overview
Content
Ready-to-use solution in 10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0
Concentration
250 μg/ml
Size Distribution
Fragment mixture of pBR328 DNA cleaved with restriction endonuclease Bgl I and pBR328 DNA cleaved with Hinf I.
As determined by computer analysis of the pBR328 sequence the mixture contains altogether 15 DNA-fragments with the following base
pair lengths (1 base pair 660 daltons) occurring once: 2176, 1766,
1230, 1033, 653, 517, 453, 394, 220, and fragments 298, 234, and 154
occurring twice as a result from digestion of pBR328 with both Bgl I
and Hinf I.
Application
Molecular weight marker for the size determination of DNA in agarose
gels.
Typical Analysis
The DNA fragment mixture shows the typical pattern of 11 bands in
agarose gel electrophoresis, as shown in the figure, with fragments
298, 234 and 154 occurring twice, resulting in one distinct band.
Separation Conditions
Apply 1 ␮g DNA per lane on a 2% Agarose MP* gel.

2% agarose gel. Ethidiumbromide stain.
