2. sin 2x = 1/8 ( cos 8x - 4 cos 4x +3)
3. sin 3x cos 2x = 1/2 (sin 5x + sin x)

We've learned a lot of identities in this chapter, and we've
used them to simplify, solve, and verify. Remember, when
verifying just work ONE side. And when solving, if you must
square both sides, check for extraneous roots. And if you are
factoring to solve, be sure to get 0 on one side first. And sum
to product formulas are really helpful here. If it is quadratic
but can't be factored, cry, then use the quadratic formula :)
Also, when you are solving problems with multiple angles, get
the general solution first and use that to generate all answers.
If answers aren't going to be exact, draw a picture to help you
get all of your answers. Your calculator will only give you one!

#9-5 p. 442 1-63 odd, 52-60 even
This is a two day assignment. For the stamp, do at least the
problems on p 443. This is the 2nd half of the assignment and
has the equation solving on them. Then do as much of the 1st
page as you have time for. You can finish those tomorrow.
