exceptforthedeadboltlatch.Note:NterNow™Lock
willnotworkifinstalledindeadboltlatcharea.

Applyfrontdoorsticker3½+inchesabove
installationareacoveringdeadbolthole.Installthe
latchinthelowerholeusingthe2flat-headscrews
provided.Besurelatchisinthisposition.
Holdthefrontdoorknobsothatthekeyholehasa
largeropeningatthebottom.Slidethe12-button
faceplateontothisknob.Tip:Keyholeopening
resemblesteardrop.

Rotatethesquared-offcylindersothattheblueside
isup.Lockitinplacebyturningthelongflattabto
theverticalposition.

Slidethebrassplatesothearrowisvisibleand
pointingup.Slidethepigtailthroughtheholeonthe
goldplate.Tip:Putsomethinginthedoorwayto
preventdoorfromclosing.
Slideknobassemblyintothelowerlockhole,making
sure(a)thecylinderandscrewtubesfitthrough,(b)
pigtailslidesinthroughthespaceabovethelatch,and
(c)theassemblyissnugtothedoor.

Withtheonehandsqueezingthefrontdoorknob
assemblyandtheplatetogether,rotatethe2silver
screwsintothescrewtubes.Oncescrewgrabs,tighten
itwiththeaccompanyingscrewdriver!Tip:Donotuse
apowerscrewdriveritwillover-tighten!

Applyinsidedoorsticker3½+inchesabovethe
aboveinstallationareacoveringdeadbolthole.
Removethebatterycoverfrominsideknob
assemblyandsetthesmallscrewaside.
Connecttheinsideknobassemblypigtailtothefront
doorknobpigtailsnugly.Note:Thepigtailteethwill
showslightly.

Easethepigtailconnectorandexcesswiresintothe
holeasyouslidethebackdoorknobontotheblue
cylinder.Note:Lockwillnotworkifpigtailis
squashedagainstthedoor.
Turnthebacklockingswitchhorizontalsoinside
knobassemblycanslideallthewayon.

Insertthe2shortergoldscrewsintotheholesbelow
thebatterycompartment.Tightenscrewsso
assemblyissnugtothedoor.Tip:Donottoovertightenasthismaycausetheunittonotwork.
Firmly,insert4new“AA”coppertopbatteries.The
unitwillautomaticallygivean“upward”trill.Tip:If
no“trill”sound,removeandreinstallbatteries.

Youarefinishedprogramming!Slidethebackcover
overthebatteriesandsecureitwiththetinyscrew.

EachNterNow™ lockcomeswithakey.Makeplentyofcopiesforthe
builder/supervisor,agentsetc.Youwillneedakeytovisitthehome“afterhours”
orifthebatteriesrunout.
Pleasedonothangagentlockboxonfrontdoorknob.Itwillcauseunitto
malfunction.
PlaceyouroriginaldoorlockpartsintheNterNow™ shippingboxand/orlarge
bagandstoresothatthelockcanbeeasilyreinstalledwhenthepropertysellsor
rents.
WhenmovingtheNterNow™locktoanotherproperty,repeattheinstallationstepsandre-programthe
lockatthenewlocation.EachnewlocationreceivesanewPropertyID#.Ifreusingsticker,covertheold
ID#withtheadditionalblankIDstickersprovided.
ThelockMUSTbereprogrammedwithourCallCentereachtimethelockismovedtoanewlocationor
eachtimethebatteriesarechanged.Otherwisetheunitwillbeoutofsync.
Changebatteriesevery4to6months(moreoftenwithfrequentuse).Usenewcoppertopbatteriesforbest
lockperformance.
