If a number is a multiple of 2 (or divisible by 2), it is an even
number; otherwise, it is an odd number.
Example: 0, 14 and 56 are even numbers. 1, 17 and 43 are odd
numbers. The number 0 is even, because it is equal to
two multiplied by zero.
