The application has been designed to give Gaming Managers a powerful tool to track performance of their gaming venue. There are 2 types of reports available: • Auditing reports • Performance reports The reports were developed using feedback from existing Wildcat users who required an in-depth analysis reporting tool. This document serves as a User guide and describes the functionality behind each report and how to interpret each report. The auditing reports have a summary of where to look for variances in each column. For advice on analysis of figures or to report problems with figures within Cheetah please contact your Account Manager or contact the Maxgaming Help Desk on 1800 700 116. 2 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 2 Sorting on Reports All Reports in Cheetah have default ranking or order in which the information is displayed. To change the order of the information in the reports simply click on any column heading. This will then order or rank the list by that column. Clicking the column heading again will change the sort order from ‘highest to lowest’ to ‘lowest to highest’ based on that column heading. Example: Sorted by Turnover Example: Sorted by Taxable Win Please note that click sorting is not available on all reports eg. Conversion Performance as the calculations are distorted if the order is changed. 2.1 Exporting Reports All reports can be exported to another format if desired using the export function. Click on the Export button at the top of the screen -> Choose the type of file to be exported and then BROWSE to send the exported file to the preferred destination. Click OK to perform the export. As a number of calculations and all formatting are performed within Cheetah, the layout of the data when exported will differ to the report. 3 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 3 Monthly Overview Report The Monthly Overview report consists of a number of reports combined into one summary report. It is a powerful tool for a manager to use as a performance measure for comparing many parts of gaming at the venue. The report is made up of the following sections/reports: • • • • • • Balancing and Site performance Snapshot Historical graphs - Annual Turnover and Taxable Win for the last 13 months Bottom 10 machines Top 10 machines Manufacturer Performance Player Loyalty Summary These reports can also be run separately if desired. 3.1 Balancing and Taxation Snapshot The Balancing Snapshot provides a monthly summary of balancing for the site. It also shows taxable win and Net after tax figure. The Return to Player figure is the actual sites return to player for the month. 4 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 3.2 Annual Turnover Shows the monthly turnover and taxable win for the previous 13 months. Operational days and percent on report is also shown. Machines attached to a random jackpot are indicated with an asterix(*). It shows the turnover for the past 3 months for comparison. The report can only be run for a monthly period. If weekly or 2 monthly reports are required use the Machine Performance Report. Clicking on each column heading will resort the report. 9 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 4.2 Machine Performance The Machine Performance report ranks individual machine performance based on the turnover for a month. Operational days and percent on report is also shown. The period of the report is user defined by end and start date. Clicking on each column heading will resort the report. 10 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 4.3 Game Performance Report The Game Performance report groups like games together and ranks the performance of the game. By default the report ranks by Avg Daily Turnover. By clicking on the Avg Daily Taxable Win column the report will sort by that column. Clicking the Avg Bet column the report will sort. Please note that Average Daily Taxable Win figures for individual game types can be mis-represented if a machine has had a substantial jackpot hit during the period. 4.4 Conversion Performance Report The Conversion Performance report identifies any machines that have had a game change for the period of the report. It compares the Average Daily Turnover(ADT) of the original game with the new game and expresses the change as a percentage of the original game ADT. A negative change shows that the game has had a decrease in ADT when compared to the original game. There is an example of this report on the following page. 11 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 4.5 Jackpot Group Performance Report The Jackpot Group Performance Report allows you to compare different jackpot link products along with Stand Alone machines. It includes a table that shows the Avg Daily Turnover and Avg Daily Taxable Win for each group. The report also shows the percentage of floor space, site turnover and Taxable Win. The table above is then represented as 2 graphs, as shown on the following page. 12 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 13 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 5 Auditing Reports 5.1 Hopper Variance The Hopper Variance report identifies variances between expected and actual hopper levels. Identifying diverter faults, Hopper Fill discrepancies and instances where loose coin in the base of the EGM is reported in the correct area (hopper or cashbox). A variance explanation has been provided at the bottom of this report to assist Manager’s in reconciliation and investigating any discrepancies. The report can be run for an entire month or on a daily basis, however, to be accurate the hopper level must be entered in Wildcat via Accounts Data Entry prior to the report being produced. Eg. Hoppers were weighed before trade on the 1st June 2004, Hoppers were then weighed again on 3rd June prior to trade along with a Coin and Note Clearance. The coin and note clearance data was entered for the 2nd June and the Opening Hoppers for the 3rd June. A Hopper Variance report can then be run for the period 1 June to 3 June (as below). NB. Old DUCMs protocol machines will have a negative hopper variance due to the machine’s coins in meter not distinguishing between coins and notes in. These Machines are easily identified by an asterix (*) next to the serial number. 14 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld Variance Explanations: 1. Closing Hopper Variance with (i) Cashbox Variance but no Win Variance possible divertor fault. (ii) Win Variance but no Cashbox Variance - Closing Hopper value has been over/under stated - Opening hopper was weighed or reported incorrectly (in this case the Win Variance will balance over 2 months) 2. Win Variance with (i) No Cashbox or Hopper Variance - Variance is due to one of the following: Note Clearance, Hopper Fills, Cancel Credits, Handpaid Jackpots & Short Pays - If variance amount is similiar to $160, check reported Hopper Fills. 5.2 Cash Audit The Cash Audit Report provides a method for balancing the cash in and cash out for each of EGM on a weekly/daily/monthly basis. To be accurate the hopper level must be entered in Wildcat via Accounts Data Entry prior to the report being produced. The Cash Audit looks at coins in and out of the top(hopper) and bottom(cashbox) of the machine and will show variances for each. As with the Hopper Variance Report it can be run monthly or daily depending on when clearances are performed and hoppers weighed. Due to the number of columns on the report and the large values involved the totals at the end of the report are listed down the page. 15 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld Variance Explanations: 1. Variance Top (K) (i) If variance amount is similar to $160, check reported Hopper Fills. Eg: If Variance is a $-160.00, it is likely that a Hopper Fill has been reported but was not physically put into the EGM. If variance is $160.00 then a Hopper Fill was physically put into the EGM and no voucher was created. (ii) Opening or Closing Hopper value has been over/under stated (in this case the Win Variance will balance over 2 months). (iii) Diverter fault – Top (K) and Cashbox (M) variances will balance. Diverter faults do not affect the Win Variance. 2. Variance Cashbox (M) (i) Diverter fault – Top (K) and Cashbox (M) variances will balance and Variance Total (L) will be nil. Diverter faults do not affect the Win Variance. (ii) Check for discrepancies in Note and Coin Clearances during the report period. (iii) EGM may have been converted or disposed during the report period. In which case the Close Hopper will be zero. Total Variance (L) will also be correct. 16 2008 Cheetah User Guide Maxgaming Qld 6 Tax Calculator Within Cheetah is a Tax calculator. Look in Applications or select the calculator button.
