Sahara Desert Trek and Ait Benhaddou

Sahara Desert Trek and Ait Benhaddou
[widgetkit id=56] Morocco’s other world class adventure destination is the Sahara Desert. Trekking through the
empty, silent sand dunes is a stunning experience for those who are rugged and interesting
enough to take up the challenge!
The Sahara stretches from the snow capped mountains of the High Atlas in the west to the Red
Sea coast 4800km to the East. Its landscape varies from rocky trails to perfect wind blown sand
dunes, broken only by the occasional oasis.
We trek through this awesome landscape with a small caravan of camels to carry supplies and
Berber guides leading the way…and camp under epic African starscapes.
On the way back to Marrakech, you'll spend the night at Ait Benhaddou. This stunning desert
fortress is one of the worlds great historical sites.
