Athletic since Antonio Perez had a 36-game streak in 2006.
Has not driven in a run since April 21 and his streak of 11 consecutive
games without an RBI is one short of his career high (12, Aug. 20-31,
2011).
Is batting .264 (14-for-53) with the bases empty, .098 (4-for-41) with
runners on base.
Is batting .224 (11-for-49) with all four of his home runs and eight of his
nine RBI at home compared to .156 (7-for-45) on the road.
Has grounded into seven double plays, which is tied for second most in
the American League.
Last Year: Batted a career-high .260 with 12 home runs and 47 RBI in 84 games
with Minnesota in a season interrupted by three stints on the DL…missed a total of
65 games while on the DL and his 84 games played were his fewest since 2011.
