Religion Board Games Background: Religion was first started to help explain away the problems of everyday life and give people hope of a higher power, be it good or bad. The first religions were polytheistic and had gods, demons, and demigods. It took until around 2000 BCE to have the world’s first monotheistic religion. Throughout the years both the polytheistic and monotheistic religions have truly changed history. Religions have caused many wars, inspired migration and movement to different parts of the world, dictated what some governments should do, survived many stereotypes, and now will go one step farther into the world of board games.
