Vezey-Nedderman Rites Solemnized Saturday Afternoon A Ddding of interest was so lemnized on Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the First Christian church when Mi Betty Anne Vezey, daught3r of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. VeLey of Co1icg Station, became the bride of Wendell H. Nedderman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nedderman of Lovilia Iowa. Rev. Carlos Davis, assistant pastor of the A. and M. Method ist church, officiated before an altar bahk2d with palms and decorated with white candelabra and baskets of white chrysanthe mums and calla lilies. Mrs. Elizabeth Cook, organist, plaDd Mendelssohn’s w e d ding march and also accompanied By ron Kilpatriek as he sang “0, Promise Me” and’ “The Lord’s Prayer”. During the ceremony Mrs. Cook played softly Mc Dowell’s “To a Wild Rose”. Given in marriage by hel fa ther, the bride was attired in a dark blu2 suit with matching hat and maroon accessories. Her bouquet, a true o r c h i d with sprays of purple stock and sweet peas, was frilled with net and ribbons and was carried on a white Bible. Mrs. L. R. Thompson, sister of the bride, attended as matror of honor wearing a gmy suit with black accessories and corn pleted her costume with a bou quet of pink carnations and sweet peas. T. II. The rooms were decorated with silr Christmas foliage. candles and white flowers. The lace covered table was centered with the wedding cake with white tapars in silver holders at each side. Mrs. Jack Swatzdll presided at tle bride’s book. The bride and “oom left im mediately a f t e r the reception for Lovilia, Iowa, whe they will spend the Christmas holi dgys with the groom’s parents. After Janua:y 1st they will make their home in College Station where the groom i a member of the civil engineering department of A. and M. college. The bride is a graduate of A. and M. Consolidated high school and Texas State College for Wo men. The groom is a graduate of Iowa State college at Ames. Fol lowing graduation he spent three yeai-s in the U.S. navy mostly in the Pacific where he served as an engineering officer on a de stroyer. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. L. R.
