friends and fun–filled activities.

We are pleased to have new
friends in our class: Nora Marcus, Catalina Wachell and Julian
Bathish. Welcome to our class!
Congratulation to Jana Poserio
and Liliana Willoughby for being
chosen as students of the month
for September!
Jana is a very smart girl. At circle
time she’s very participative and

stays focused until the end of
the activity. She gives her almost 100% attention and loves
to interact with every story that I
read. she wants to be the first
one to do her art work and is
not happy when she’s done.
She knows what the subject is
and she does it with perfection.
She is very independent especially at lunch time. She can
feed herself. Jana is a very
sweet girl who can get along
with everybody. Way to go, Jana!
Liliana is one of those smart
kids that I have. At circle time,
she will request a certain song
or a story book that she wants to
hear.

Happy Halloween and Happy
Fall!
First and foremost the Rollie
Pollies would like to give a
warm welcome to Dexter, Li–
liana and Angelina!!
Last month the children were
able to explore their emotions
and get to know their body
parts. The children sang “Head,
shoulders, knees, and toes”
while pointing to their corre-
he can follow good directions
and always gets excited for
new things introduced to the
classroom. She shows independence especially at lunch
time where She feeds herself. Her vocabulary has increased and uses her words
to ask for her wants and
needs. In fact, she is very
respectful. She says “please”
if she wants something from
us. Liliana is the first ever
under Ms. Antonia and my
care to be potty trained and
show consistency in doing so.
We are very proud of that.
Good job Lili!!!

Dear Dragonfly parents,
The Dragonflies class would
like to warmly welcome Mila,
Emmanuel, Isaiah, as the newest members of our class. It is
always a delight to have new
friends join the class. The
Dragonflies class always makes
new friends feel welcome.
This month, the students are
learning the letters A, B, and C.
When we ask what students
names in our class start with
the letter A, the students say
Avery and Ariya. To practice
other words that start with the
letter A, the students each come
up during circle time to pick a
picture out of the bag with pictures that start with the letter A.
The students show the picture
to their friends and say what the
picture is. This is their favorite
part of circle time because they
each get to share with their
friends. This month, the students are also learning body
parts. The Dragonflies class
would like to honor Kevin Salinas as Student of the Month.
Kevin is a quiet boy who enjoys playing with his friends
both inside and outside the
classroom. Kevin has shown
great improvements with his
verbal skills and is using his
words more. When the class
is walking to the playground,
Kevin always walks together
with the rest of the
class. When asked to repeat
phrases and requests, Kevin
always does so. He is always
the first one to help clean up
when it is clean up.
Kevin is a joy to have in the
classroom.
