ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR #17208 AND 17209 METRO® SUPER
ADJUSTABLE SUPER ERECTA® SHELF WIRE SHELVING
Units include four wire shelves, four posts, and
sixteen sleeve and wedge sets.
1. Grab a post and choose your desired shelf heights. Shelves are adjustable in 1”
increments. Attach a sleeve and wedge onto each post groove at your desired
heights. Sleeves and wedges interlock around the post grooves. There will be
four sleeve and wedge sets per post.
2. Be sure that the number on the
post is showing through the triangular window.
3. Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining posts. Your posts are now ready for shelves.

4. Remove top shelf from box and move to the side. Remove the remaining
shelves keeping them stacked in the exact order they were in the box. You
can also leave the three shelves in the box to keep correct order. We’ve
removed shelves so that the box doesn’t interfere with future assembly steps.
5. Insert a post into each of the four shelf corners. The
three shelves should still be stacked.

6. Posts will stand alone when in shelf corners.

7. Prepare top shelf by flipping the corner release handles down.
9. Prepare the
next shelf by
flipping the
corner release
handles up.
8. It may be helpful to use a step ladder for the top shelf.
Install top shelf by lowering each corner onto a post.
Press firmly to seat shelf to wedge and sleeve sets.
10. Lift and slide the shelf until you
are above the sleeve and wedge
sets at your next desired height.
This shelf will be the first shelf
below the top shelf. Once above
the wedge and sleeve sets, flip all
four corner release handles down
and press the shelf down firmly to
seat to wedge and sleeve sets.

11. Repeat steps 9-10 for the two remaining shelves.
Your assembled shelving unit
is ready for use.
Posts include leveling bolts to stabilize
your shelving unit. Turn bolts in or out
to level unit.
