la sua ispirazione nelle linee fluide,
morbide e ondulate dei
paesaggi sahariani e delle loro
distese sinuose. Il dorso così
nitido delle dune è chiamato in
arabo sif, nome che indica anche
la lama ricurva della scimitarra
(sciabola d’origine orientale
che si allarga all’estremità) che
DUNE può ugualmente evocare.

reaches. The neat ridge
of the dunes is called
sif in Arabic: a word
that refers to the curvy
blade of the scimitar
(sabre of oriental
origins); DUNE recalls
this romantic shape.
