We would like to acknowledge Kaylee Brown, a former Salina, Kansas resident, on her academic achievements.
Miss Brown will graduate from Oklahoma Christian University with duel Master degrees in
Business Administration and Health Care Administration.
She is a 2011 Salina South High School graduate, with honors in two cores and as a member of the National
Honor Society. Kaylee was very active in the Salina, Kansas community. Miss Brown was the treasurer for the Youth
Advisory Council in 2009 and 2010. She served as the youth voice for Salina Downtown Inc. Council (2010). As well
as a member of Jr. Leadership Salina (2010) and the youth liaison for the Salina Arts & Humanities Commissioner
Board (2010). She was awarded scholarships from Sunflower Bank, Salina Public Library, and UMB Bank.
During her high school and college career she volunteered for various community organizations as well as shadowing
several physicians in the Salina and Manhattan, Kansas communities. Miss Brown graduated from
Kansas State University in 2015 earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology: Health & Nutrition.
