the Lusitania, and the Edmund Fitzgerald. These vessels all experienced
unexpected, tragic loss taking many lives throughout history.

killed in this shipwreck. The Titanic sunk in the North Atlantic Ocean when it hit
an iceberg. It was thought to be the best ship ever made in the minds of some
people. How ironic that it is one of the most famous shipwrecks in history.
Several movies were made about this terrible crash.
The catastrophe of the Lusitania occurred on May 7, 1915. The Lusitania is
famous because of its historic crash near Germany. The Lusitania sank during
World War 1. The ship was advised not to go in the path they were going but
the continued and were hit by a torpedo. 1198 people were killed. The ship
was also carrying 123 tons of cargo that was lost in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Finally the horror of the Edmund Fitzgerald happened on November 10, 1975
in the middle of Lake Superior. It sank in Lake Superior killing all 29 of its
passengers. The Edmund Fitzgerald sank because it was not built correctly. The
Edmund Fitzgerald was one of the most historic fresh water crashes ever.
These shipwrecks are all important because they helped us discover more
things we need to fix when it comes to boats. They are also significant in history
