in real-time, local tissue elasticity in
kilopascals
With MultiWave technology, Aixplorer relies on the
simultaneous use of both ultrasound waves and shear
waves to better characterize and quantify tissue stiffness.
Shear wave velocity is directly related to the quantifiable
measurement of tissue elasticity. Aixplorer can generate,
capture and quantify the velocity of a shear wave by acquiring data
up to 200 times faster than conventional ultrasound technology.
Aixplorer produces in real-time, a quantitative color coded map
displaying local tissue elasticity for a large image region.
An easy-to-read color scale indicates tissue elasticity.

Pioneering Thy-RADS TM Documentation Tool
Select the required annotation(s), body marker(s) and
transducer orientation for thyroid anatomy imaging directly
from the touch screen.
This unique feature provides a standardized descriptive checklist, similar to the BI-RADS®
(American College of Radiology: Breast Imaging – Reporting and Data System) which
enables quick identification and documentation for nodule characterization in thyroid
pathology. Thy-RADS can be simultaneously applied on up to 8 thyroid nodules at a time.

The SuperLinear SL 15-4 transducer is designed to help you acquire the most accurate data
possible for every exam. The lightweight transducer has been ergonomically studied and validated
by physicians and sonographers to fit perfectly in your hand in a relaxed position.
• This unique transducer technology provides both outstanding B-Mode image quality and
ShearWave Elastography performance.
