The Four Seasons
In Britain the weather can change a lot in spring. On some
days it rains or snows, but on other days it is quite warm.
It can also be very windy. The clothes you need for spring
include a raincoat and a sweater.

Most people look forward to summer, because they can
wear shorts and T-shirts. The days are hotter and the sun
shines. Sometimes there are thunderstorms.
The next season is autumn – another time of change. The
days are shorter, but they can still be warm. Evenings can
be cold.
Winter is often very cold and there is sometimes snow,
especially in the north. You need to wear coats, scarves
and gloves. A lot of the time it’s wet. Sam’s correct: always
bring an umbrella.
