THE COMENIUS GAME
It is a table game, a quiz to make people more awared about Europe, and to
know something more about the countries involved in the project.
The board consist of a track
with consecutively numbered
spaces arranged in a spiral.
There are coloured cards
where questions about EU and
the partners’ countries are
written in English.
The players throw two dice
and move ahead: they have to
answer a question on the EU,
written on the coloured card. If
they answer rightly, they
throw the dice again; if not,
they lose their turn. Scattered
throughout the board there are
some yellow spaces that give
the players bonus or penaties:
landing on them, the players
can move again, or lose one or
more turns, move backwards,
or being back to start. The
winner is the player who
reaches the finish line.
It was also used during the
school party where the local
community could participate
and try “how much european
we are”.
