THE JOHN F. KENNEDY PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM
CIVIC EDUCATION FOR MASSACHUSETTS STUDENTS
As the only presidential library in New England and one of only 13 in the nation, the John F. Kennedy
Presidential Library and Museum is a rich resource for Massachusetts and a leader in providing civic
education for students of all ages. Over 25,000 students each year take part in our award-winning
education programming, and hundreds of teachers participate in our professional development
opportunities. In addition, our website – jfklibrary.org – contains an extensive collection of lesson
plans, biographical and historical resources, educational activities, and curricula. These resources align
with Massachusetts state standards, advance the civic education and knowledge of our students, and
are free and easily accessible for educators across the state.
