Burn Weekend 2017
Our GOD is a consuming FIRE.
Registration: This is Burn Weekend’s 14th year! It is Burn Weekend’s continuing purpose to
share the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and inspire Christian students and leaders to change their world
by fulfilling the great commission. This year’s event will include worship by “Club Church” and speaking by
Colin Leaver. Also, our late night games fair will feature an outdoor rock climbing wall. Be sure to register
for our annual talent show as well! The cost for the entire overnight event is $30 per student and $20 for every
adult / youth leader. Registration covers entrance into all events and breakfast on Saturday morning.
Students should bring extra money for pizza and the overnight canteen. Cheques can be made payable to
“Central Canada Wesleyan Youth”. If you do not register before March 17th, a $5 late fee per registration
will apply. Students and Leaders should bring adequate attire and equipment for overnight tournaments. If
you are traveling a long distance to get here, it is recommended that you find accommodations for your driver
separate from the event. Burn weekend has a limited occupancy – preference will be given to groups who

Burn Weekend 2017 Talent Show Registration
Details: Our talent show has been replaced with a coffee house event. Instead of performing in the sanctuary, the competition will
take place in the upstairs café. Because of this, space and performance time for contestants will be limited. There will be a limited #
of registrations accepted with preference given to those who pre-register before the evening of the event. Also, there will be only
two categories this year – solo performance or group ensemble. Your group must work with the small setup and stage provided.
There will be two guitar or instrument inputs available, two microphones and a piano. Pre-registering with the form bellow is the
only way to guarantee your spot.
