Land was purchased and plans for a facility are being developed. We have 3 called workers serving the field. Your gift will help us to continue to support this ministry. Thank you!” Chapel, April 13th, will be led by St. Croix instructor Mr. Boehm and is entitled “The Impossible Task.” Playing for chapel will be Elizabeth Schacht. Thank you! “Shine Like Stars.” Philippians 2:15 This Week at CLS— "In like a lion, out like a lamb?" (Or is it "In like a lamb, out like a lion?") At any rate, spring is here, with spring classroom activities and lots more... The pre-K classes read The Wind Blew and flew a kite. The kindergarteners studied "U" and planted seeds underground. Solids, liquids and gases were the study in grade one. The second graders plotted perimeter and area. Stone Fox was the story in third grade. Fourth graders were into synonyms and antonyms, while fifth graders dreamed up their own inventions. Sixth grade was the site of Reader's Theater presentations. They also investigated percentage, simple interest and adverbs. The Psalms, modern-day Europe and the respiratory and circulatory systems were topics in grade seven. Eighth graders studied parabolas, fantasy stories and acids, bases and salts. Thanks to students in grades 4-8 for glorifying our Lenten Lord through song March 28. A very blessed Holy Week and Easter to all! Thank you for your support of Christian education!
