The following are instructions for getting new P-Card applicants setup in the
WV State Auditor’s P-Card Training website database:
All New applicants must sign up and create a MyApps account.
Note: If you already have an account set up ("My Apps") for the State Auditor's Office,
skip step one and go directly to step 2.
STEP ONE: Go to www.wvsao.gov and click on MyApps. At the bottom of the screen, the
users will click the self-sign-up link, “New to MyApps? Sign Up!” The system will go through
a series of screens to authenticate the user. The user will then establish their email/username,
personal password and security question. Once completed, the user will be able to log in to
MyApps and view the items that they have permission to see. However, the P-Card Training
link will not be available until the user is added by the agency coordinator.
STEP TWO: Once the user has successful created their MyApps account, they will need to
notify the agency coordinator. The coordinator will log in and add the new user. The P-Card
Training link will then be available to the user. The agency coordinator will notify you via email
once you have access to the P-Card Training Material.
STEP THREE: Go to www.wvsao.gov and click on MyApps. Log in, Click on “Training
Materials” in the menu on the left side of screen
You will then see “Cardholder Training”, “Ethics Training”, “Policy Manual”, and “Quiz
Information”.
Once each video presentation is complete, close the presentation window and select the next unit
from the list. If you have completed all the units (including the Ethics lectures), please begin the
quiz.
Quizzes for Cardholder Training and Ethics Training must be completed. You must obtain at
least 80% and only have three chances to pass.
Please print and forward copies of completion Certificates to the Procurement Office.
