Summary
Collaborate with the Vice President of Women’s Merchandising, the Creative Content Director and the Photo Studio
Manager to style innovative fashion content concepts for Buckle.
Through creative product styling, explore new ways of presenting our merchandise and brands; accenting the quality,
details, and special features through studio photography.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This description intends to describe the general nature and level of work performed by Teammates assigned to this job. It is



Daily communication with Men’s and Women’s buying teams to familiarize with new product receipts, future
orders and how to incorporate upcoming trends for guests to shop.
Communication and coordination with Internet Design & Marketing teams to generate multiple purposes for
fashion editorial content.
Creative Brand Development


Collaborate with the Buckle.com Visual Merchandising team in setting standards for product and image
photography on Buckle.com that represents and appeals to our diverse product and Guest mix.
Work with Photographers, Studio Manager and Stylists for execution and production.
Seasonal Content Planning and Preparation

Working alongside the Vice President of Women’s Merchandising, the Creative Content Director and the Photo
Studio Manager:
o Research and understand the merchandise plan for each season and present ideas for seasonal fashion
content topics and styling on Buckle.com.
o Collaborate with the Buckle.com Visual Merchandising team in executing approved content projects to be
implemented in the Buckle stores with the goal of increasing sales.
o Present innovative ideas for merchandising our product selection through various online channels:
Buckle.com, social media, the blog.
Photo Shoots



Collaborate with the Buckle.com Visual Merchandising team in putting together the women’s supplemental photo
shoot outfits to ensure key components – categories, trends and brands are being represented.
Provide ideas for supplemental content topics, photography concepts, and styling.
Following the photo shoot, coordinate projects, working with an assigned designer to build each topic into
approved marketing content.

Present and implement creative styling techniques with a focus on representing the uniqueness of our branded

Work alongside our team of Buckle.com Visual Merchandising team daily to ensure the product is styled efficiently
and accurately, according to established standards.
Direct and engage with models to achieve the right shots that match the design and fashion direction for each
project.
Understand deadlines and prioritize in order to stay on schedule and meet output goals.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Guests or
Teammates of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Word
