What is STRIVE?
STRIVE is a multi-agency team that works
with people who have been or are currently
involved in criminal activity that has a negative
effect on the local community. It aims to
reduce the risk of reoffending by supporting
the person in making positive decisions about
their life.

What can STRIVE

• Helps you to stop offending and from
going back to prison
• Helps you address issues like changing
your thinking, building better
relationships, addiction, health and
homelessness

• Provides supports for re-connecting with
family and friends who can support your
positive changes
• Helps you identify positive goals and how
to achieve them
How does it work?
Probation

You have been selected for STRIVE based
on your offending history. The STRIVE team
will work closely together with you to give
you a better understanding of why you
offend. They will help you understand your
behaviour and work out a plan together
which will help you stop offending. This will
give you every opportunity to make positive
and lasting changes in your life.

your life which will give you positive options
for your future.
