Brian Sullivan Card - Excel in Basketball

Brian Sullivan Excel in Basketball Camp Legend 6’3” Point Guard Clayton Valley High School, Eastern Washington University What Excel Meant to Me: More important than the tools it gave me to be
successful at the high school and collegiate level it taught me the importance of
hard work and responsibility. I still have all my "Excel Report Cards" from as far
back as 31 years ago. From Coach Allocco to Coach Cattano, to Ray Horwath to
Richard Allocco to Dr. John Stein the memories I have of the coaches who
mentored me at Excel in Basketball are forever emblazoned in my heart. Career: Brian was a legendary Excel Camper, High School Player, and Collegiate Player. He was the first MVP of the first Excel Camp and was a terror in the New Jersey Camp as well. Brian played Varsity Basketball at Clayton Valley High School for four years. Despite an injury-‐plagued senior season, Brian was still one of the top players in Northern California and earned a scholarship to Eastern Washington University where he was once again a four year starter and still holds the record for most games started. Brian led Eastern to the Big Sky Championship game. Brian’s number 14 was retired at Clayton Valley High School in respect for his outstanding career there. Today, Brian is the Assistant Director of Excel and is the Associate Head Coach at De La Salle High School.
