NAB Essential Life Promotional Offer
The following are the Terms and Conditions for this Promotional Offer (‘Offer’). By purchasing a NAB Essential
Life or NAB Essential Accidental Death policy, you agree to participate in this Offer and the Terms and
Conditions below. If you do not wish to participate in this Offer, please contact us when you receive your
welcome pack.
Eligibility Terms
1.
You must meet the eligibility requirements for a NAB Essential Life or NAB Essential Accidental Death
policy.
2.
You must purchase a NAB Essential Life or NAB Essential Accidental Death insurance policy online
(through nab.com.au) between 12.00 am on 20 March 2017 and 11.59 pm on 31 May 2017.
3.
If approved for a NAB Essential Life insurance policy, your policy at commencement must be for a
minimum premium of $20.00 per fortnight or $40.00 per month. (There is no minimum premium
requirement for a NAB Essential Accidental Death policy).
4.
Your policy must be in force, that is, it has not been cancelled or lapsed within the first 40 days of
commencement of the policy and all premiums due have been paid.
5.
You can have only one policy, either NAB Essential Life or NAB Essential Accidental Death insurance.
You cannot apply for and purchase multiple policies. Customers who purchase multiple policies are in
breach of the Offer terms and conditions and will only receive one Garmin tracker.
6.
You cannot apply and purchase a NAB Essential Life or Essential Accidental Death on behalf of others.
7.
Existing NAB and MLC Essential Life or Essential Accidental Death policyholders are excluded from this
Offer.
8.
MLC accepts no responsibility for lost, incomplete, delayed or corrupted applications.
The Garmin Tracker
9.
If the eligibility requirements are met, we will give you the following device:
Garmin Vivosmart® HR activity tracker (‘Garmin tracker’);
10. The Garmin tracker will be sent to your residential address as stated in your application within 55
days from the policy commencement date subject to you meeting the Eligibility Terms above.
11. If for any reason the Garmin tracker is not available, an alternative device of equal or approximate
value will be provided as MLC determines is appropriate, at MLC’s full discretion (replacement
device). In the event that a replacement device is provided, any reference in a term to the ‘Garmin
tracker’ shall be taken to be a reference to the replacement device.
12. MLC is not the manufacturer of the Garmin tracker and is not a distributor of the Garmin tracker. MLC
does not provide any warranties, guarantees or assurances in relation to the quality and performance
of the device.
13. MLC is not responsible for your use of the Garmin tracker and shall not be liable in relation to your
use or any damage, defect or failure of the device or loss or theft of the device. Any defect or failure
of the device is the responsibility of the manufacturer and requests for assistance in relation to the
use of the device or complaints should be referred to the manufacturer or appointed distributors of
the Garmin tracker, as stated in the manuals accompanying the device.
14. MLC will take steps that are reasonable to replace the Garmin tracker if MLC is satisfied that the
device was faulty upon delivery to you, providing that the faulty device is returned to MLC.
15. The Garmin tracker is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other Offer.
16. The Garmin tracker Offer is made by MLC. MLC Limited takes full responsibility for the Offer. National
Australia Bank (NAB) ABN 12 004 044 937 and AFSL and Australian Credit Licence 230686 and its
