Barry Blackburn has been hired as lead instructor starting August 1, 2016. Barry will replace Steve Harper as Steve starts to transition into the job as Training Director as my departure gets nearer. This will be the last Newsletter that I will be writing and want to thank all that have supported and thanked me. I will say I truly enjoyed my 21 years here and that the most rewarding time of each year has been watching all the apprentices graduate during the graduation banquet. I would also like to thank my Committee members, past and present and instructors for their support in letting me make a few decisions in making our program one of the best (at least I think so), but there is room for improvements and it’s time to let the next TD put his stamp on the program and keep it moving forward. Thanks again and in a few months I hope to be soaking up some sun :-). EEO: If you know of a minority or female that would be an asset to the IBEW and NECA please have them apply.
