Monticello runs on Windows Vista,
Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 and on Windows Server 2003 SP1 + WIC, Windows Server

System requirements will vary depending on the specifics of your implementation. In general, a

MAILdb and Monticello add-ons can be installed on a standalone computer for a single-user, or can
be installed on a network for multiple users.
Requirements for a Single-User (Standalone) Installation
Standalone Computer
A standalone computer is one that has Monticello software and data files installed locally. This
computer can run Monticello software without relying on any other computer.
System requirements for a standalone installation of MAILdb:

Server Computer
The server computer is the computer that runs Monticello software and holds the data files that are
accessed by client computers.

Space Requirements
Space requirements will vary depending on the specifics of your implementation and on the size and
number of your mailing records. The space needed accounts for space to store and manage USPS®
data files, which are extremely large and which are updated on a recurring basis.
Use this information as a general guideline. In general, more available hard drive space will improve

You can archive inactive jobs to significantly reduce space. For example, an active job that uses
2.5MB of space, if archived as inactive, will use approximately .25MB.
