ThegoaloftheMathClubistohavefunwhilstdevelopingadeepappreciationandunderstanding

Asweallknow,mentalmathisaskillthatisuseddaily.Inthisfunclub,studentswillbeworking
towardsmasteringmathfactsatafasterrate!Theywillenjoyplayinginteractivegamesand
pairingwithpartnerstosolvementalmathproblems.Eachweek,studentswillenjoyadifferent
waytopracticeandlearnmentalmathstrategies.

Solvingmathematicalproblemscanbebothchallengingandfun!IntheMathGeniusesclub,the
goalistocollaboratewithpeersandhavefunusingcriticalthinkinginproblemsolving.Students
willpracticeusingconceptsrecentlyacquiredinmathclasswithgames,hands-on-activities,and
technology.MathclassatFSAisalwaysanengagingexperiencewherestudentsareencouragedto
developalternativesolutionstotheproblemstheyencounterthroughpeerdiscussionandselfexploration.InMathGeniuses,problemsolvingwillbetakentoexcitingnewheightsforstudents

CreativeWritingisaclubtoencouragestudentpassionforwritingwhilealsoworkingtoimprove
theirwritingskills.Studentswillworkeachweekbothindependently,wholegroup,andwith
smallgroupstowriteandshareideaswhilepracticinggettingandusingconstructivefeedback.
Studentswilllearnhowtomaketheirwritinginteresting,moredescriptive,utilizeavarietyof
writinggenres,andproperlyeditwriting.Studentswillhavetheopportunitythroughouttheyear
