1. To begin, go to www.dropbox.com
-Click “log in” at the top right hand of the page
-Click “create new account”
-Type your contact info into the designated boxes
-Click “Create account”
-This box below will pop up; click ok
2. This download screen will pop up
-Double click on “Dropbox”
3. This screen below will pop up
-Right click on the open box icon and drag it to the right over the application folder
picture (a green plus sign will appear). Release it by unclicking the mouse
-A “Dropbox” icon will appear on you desktop
4. Now find drop box application in your finder
-Click on the “Finder” icon
-Click on the “Application” tab on the left hand side of the finder box and find the
“Dropbox” application (see image below)
- Double click on it
5. This screen below will pop up
-Click “I already have a dropbox account”
-Click continue
-Enter email and password and click continue
6. Choose the free 2GB
7. Click set up as “typical”
-Click install
-Read the short instruction and click finish
-The drop box will appear on the menu bar at the of your screen
8. Email Patrick Knott as [email protected] to let us know what
email address you used to register an account and we will add you to be linked to us
-Wait for an email from us with further instructions
9. You will get an email that looks like this
10. Click on the blue link that says view “your name”
11. This screen below pops up; click accept
12. It will take you to this page below: Click Upload
-This screen below pops up:
13. Click choose a file and find it from the files on your comp
-Click start upload
-The files download and appear in your folder
14. Please fill out the attached word document for each x-ray you download so we
can collect information about the patient (i.e. gender, type of brace, age)
15. To come back later and add more files
-Go to www.dropbox.com
-Click log in at top right hand corner of the screen
-Click Log in
16. Find your folder name and click on it
-Click upload and add more files to the drop box
-
