On 3/14/12, we celebrated pi day. 3/14 are the first three digits of pi. Things we did on that day were making songs about pi, memorizing the digits of pi, and eating pi. First off, we had to write songs about pi. I liked that activity because it gave us full control of what we wanted to do. I really like projects that allow me to express my creativity without limits. Our next activity of the day was memorizing the digits of pi. For me, this was a challenge. I only got up to 10 digits. The highest number of digits in our class was 72, and that was kea. The highest number of digits memorized in our team was kelsey with 130 digits.
