MINI-PROYECTO: UN PAÍS HISPANOHABLANTE (A Spanish-Speaking Country) This mini-project is a Powerpoint about one Spanish-speaking country. Your Powerpoint will provide basic information about the country, en español. Everything you need to say is detailed in these instructions! Send your Powerpoint via email to [email protected] or bring it to school on a flashdrive. Make this happen BEFORE the due date! (Don’t have a computer and/or Powerpoint? Let Señora Gómez know!) Your Powerpoint should be a minimum of six [6] slides. Feel free to include more slides or more pictures! SLIDE 1 On the first slide, put the name of your country IN SPANISH. Although some countries do have the same names in both English and Spanish (like Guatemala), other countries have different names in the Spanish language (like Spain, España). Include an appropriate illustration on the first slide page, and your real name, too. [Make sure to include accents if your country has one – use the INSERT SYMBOL function!] SLIDE 2 On the second slide, put the following sentence: Es (name of country in Spanish). On the same page, put the shape of your country, like this: SLIDE 3 On this slide, tell where your country is located: (Name of country in Spanish) está en (name of continent or area of the world, also in Spanish). North America América del Norte South America América del Sur Caribbean Europe Central America el Caribe Europa América Central Put a map of your country that shows where it is located in the world, like this: SLIDE 4 On the fourth slide, describe the flag of your country, in Spanish. Use this sentence: Los colores de la bandera de (name of your country in Spanish) son (colors in Spanish). The illustration on this page should be a large rendition (picture) of the flag from your country. SLIDE 5 On this slide, tell the capital of your country: La capital de (name of your country in Spanish) es (capital name in Spanish). Put a map of your country (not just an outline) that shows major rivers, mountain ranges, cities, etc. make sure the capital is indicated with a star or circle. SLIDE 6 On the sixth (and final) slide, put this sentence: En (name of your country in Spanish) se habla español. Illustrate this slide with a picture of a person that might be from your country.
