PACKAGING: 0.1 mCi/ml (3.7 MBq/ml) in ethanol : water (2:98), steri-packaged.
STABILITY AND STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Amino acid mixture, L-[14C(U)]- should be stored at 5oC to minimize radiochemical decomposition. Care should be taken to avoid
infecting the solution with micro-organisms.
PURITY CRITERIA: The identity of 16 amino acids, [14C(U)]- in the mixture has been verified by HPLC comparison with
that of mixture made up of individual labled amino acids.
PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE: Amino acid mixture, L-[14C(U)]- is prepared by isolation and purification from algae
growth and the following percentages are from relative AUC (Area Under Curve) of radioactivity peaks from HPLC analysis.
