Zhoushan is an archipelagic city
with great charm.
It is the first prefectural-level city in China formed by archipelago,
belonging to Zhejiang Province. Being the largest archipelago in
the nation and an important port city, it possesses more than
1390 islands and 270km of deep-water coast lines, covers a land
area of 1440 square kilometers and a sea area of 110 thousand,
with 1.14 million residents living here.
Unique Location Advantage
Zhoushan sits at the confluence of “The Golden Coast Line” of East
China and Yangtze River Golden Waterway, facing the Pacific Ocean. It
is a major gateway to the international market, forming a fan-shaped
marine transport network with front-line port cities like Pusan ，
Nagasaki and Hong Kong. It is also the strategic fulcrum of The
Yangtze River economic zone and the Maritime Silk Road.
