HerbalNature™ uses food-based, natural oils like grapeseed, hazelnut and jojoba. The molecular
structures of these oils are small enough to penetrate deeply beneath the scalp’s surface. Our transdermal approach is intended to carry the healing properties of herbs and essential oils from the jar to
your hair and scalp. HerbalNature™ leaves hair feeling smooth, textured and revitalized, never greasy or

The Products
The following products currently make up the HerbalNature™ Alternative Hair & Body product line:
HerbalNature™ Hair Oil: A unique blend of herbal and essential oils for nourishing the hair and scalp
which can assist in hair regrowth, accelerated growth and healthier more beautiful hair. The Hair Oil
comes in two formulas; HerbalNature™ Lite which is great for thin, fine and oily hair and
HerbalNature™ Regular which is excellent for thick, coarse and dry hair.
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea: An herbal leave-in conditioner for all hair types. Our hair tea is excellent
for severely damaged hair caused by heat, chemicals and other harmful processes. It is perfect for hair
that has been damaged due to braiding, weaving, bonding and chemical relaxers and can dramatically
reduce excessive shedding. HerbalNature™ Hair Tea is an organic drink for your hair and should not be
consumed orally.*
HerbalNature™ Styling Pomade: A non-greasy pomade excellent for controlling dry or hard to manage
hair without the sticky, gooey texture of typical pomades. HerbalNature™ Styling Pomade will texturize
and control natural, wavy and curly hair without greasiness. It can be used to train the hair to a uniform
and smooth wave pattern without chemicals and as an alternative to gels and mousse which can harden
and dry out the hair.
HerbalNature™ Skin Tea: A skin-balancing tea that contains cell rejuvenating herbs like comfrey in an
organic mixture that can counter the effects of aging and the environment. Used regularly,
HerbalNature™ Skin Tea will increase elasticity to firm and tighten skin, clear complexion of pimples
and blemishes, improve blotchy skin tone, normalize oily or dry skin for a healthy glow and reduce
puffiness and smooth skin irritations.*

How Does HerbalNature™ Hair Oil Work To Accelerate Hair Growth?
The oil works through trans-dermal healing, which is healing through the skin. Examples of transdermal products include the Nicotene patch, Birth Control patch, Weight Control patch which all
administer medicine through the skin. In order for something to be truly trans-dermal it has to penetrate
both layers of the skin (the epidermis and the dermis), it has to be able to get in to the blood stream.
HerbalNature™ Hair Oil is all natural (no chemicals) and incorporates oils that have a very fine
molecular structure. The molecules in these oils are smaller than both layers of skin thereby enabling
penetration through both layers. Lotion penetrates one layer of skin and when the skin dries out it
becomes necessary to apply more lotion. Our product is considered trans-dermal because it does not
simply sit on top of your skin, it penetrates both skin layers enabling it to get to the place where your
circulatory system and blood supply reside. The carrier oils used in HerbalNature™ Hair Oil are
Hazelnut, Grapeseed and Jojoba. These oils are specifically chosen because their molecular structure is
small enough to penetrate both layers of skin. They are also considered among the best in nutritional
value for hair, skin and nails. Our HerbalNature™ Hair Oil is created by infusing these oils with herbs
and essential oils that compliment drawing circulation which allows the circulatory system to absorb the
nutrients contained in the product.
Because our hair follicles are closer to the surface of our skin than they are to our digestive track, by
using a product that heals using a trans-dermal approach, the nutrients needed by the hair for growth are
able to access the hair follicles more quickly resulting in healthy hair growth and healthy hair. All of the

How Does HerbalNature™ Hair Oil Differ From Other Hair Growth Products On
The Market?
While there are other hair products on the market that claim accelerated hair growth and re-growth, our
products are unique to these in a number of ways. In most hair loss conditions, regardless of the
diagnosis (male or female, alopecia, baldness, hair loss through medications, illness or stress related
issues) there is usually an inflammation of the hair follicle.
The theory behind products such as Nioxin, Monoxidil & Rogaine is that they dilate the hair follicle to
promote hair growth. It is believed that if you can open up the follicle you can create less resistance for
hair to grow. The problem with this method is that in the same way that the pupils of your eyes go back
to their original size after dilation, if you don’t continue to use these products to keep the hair follicles
dilated, you will lose the hair that you have grown. The hair that is grown is as a result of the dilation
of the hair follicles however the unfortunate reality is that once the dilation wears off there is a tendency
to lose the hair. Rogaine’s slogan is “Use It or Lose It” which is literal in the sense that you must
continue to use it to get results. HerbalNature™ Hair Oil is unique in that the product addresses
reestablishing increased circulation to the hair follicles and nutritional issues associated with hair loss.
The molecular structure of HerbalNature™ Hair Oil is such that the molecules in our oils are small
enough to penetrate both layers of the skin from the outside to the inside. Many other products on the
market contain ingredients such as petroleum and mineral oil, the molecules of which are too large to
penetrate the skin which allows the product to sit on the surface of the scalp making it ineffective in
accessing the source of the deficiency (circulatory system). HerbalNature™ Hair Oil penetrates the scalp
to reach the hair follicle and stimulate circulation while providing the nutrients the hair and scalp need to
grow healthy hair. A healthy scalp needs to be able to breath and when a product is sitting atop of the
scalp, clogging the pores, the scalp is not breathing.
Will The Hair Fall Out If You Stop Using HerbalNature™ Hair Oil?
Whatever you receive from HerbalNature™ Hair Oil, whether it is hair growth, stronger hair, increased
circulation or healthier hair, is yours. Think of it in terms of the food you put into your body. You
make an investment in your body when you begin to eat healthier foods, the nutrients of which your
body absorbs and turns into fuel in order to promote a healthier body. Your body uses the food in order
to benefit you.
We think of HerbalNature™ Hair Oil in much the same way as we do with food. Introducing your hair
follicles to the necessary nutrients needed for hair growth will establish hair growth through the
absorption of these nutrients. Discontinuing use will not cause you to lose the hair growth you achieved.
If your hair growth was stunted because circulation to the hair follicle was lost as a result of trauma to
the scalp (which can be caused by hair braids, weaves or chemicals processing) and by using the
HerbalNature™ products those connections were re-established, discontinuing use will not cause the hair
growth that was acquired to be lost.
We have had clients with Alopecia who used the product and experienced re-growth of the lost hair and
they discontinued using it and didn’t get any more cases of Alopecia. We have had clients with
Alopecia who used the product, experienced re-growth, discontinued use and afterwards had 5 or 6
recurring Alopecia episodes in a few spots, used the product and had the hair grow right back.
Clients who have experienced hair loss around the temple areas used the product and their hair grew
back. They discontinued regular use of the product and they still have the same hair. Once you reestablish the blood flow, once you re-establish a connection from your circulatory system to your
nutrition, which is what hair needs to grow, your hair remains. If you stop using the product you will
not lose what you have gained, however a lot of clients continue to use the product because they
consider it to be their nutritional supplement for their hair.
HerbalNature™ Hair Oil should be regarded as your hair supplement, the nutrition that you give to your
hair. Many people do not experience any results with hair vitamins that are taken orally because our
bodies are designed to absorb nutrients and most efficiently use them to sustain life, PERIOD. We are
not saying that healthy hair would be absent in the presence of not having good nutrition, but for many
people their hair is a reflection of a larger nutritional deficiency or efficiency.
You will notice that if someone has healthy hair, they are usually doing something correct in some
aspect of their life. You almost need to have an excess of Vitamins A, B, C, E, Biotin and Keratin.
Someone who has weak hair usually has poor nails and poor skin also because the same protein that
makes up the hair makes up the skin and nails also. This protein is Keratin.
What is lacking on the inside will more often than not be reflected on the outside. For someone who is
looking to maintain optimal health for their hair we recommend regular use of our HerbalNature™ Hair
Oil in their grooming regimen to maintain the health of the hair, especially when the investment in the
product has proven itself to be beneficial. So while discontinuing the product will not adversely affect
you, continuing to use the product will most definitely benefit you.
Is HerbalNature™ Hair Oil Effective For Someone Who Has Suffered with Hair
Loss For Many Years?
Yes. We have clients, both men and women, who have experienced over 20 years of hair loss and have
experienced hair growth using the HerbalNature™ Hair Oil. For some people it takes more time than
others to see results, but in our experience clients who have suffered long-term hair loss have been
successful using the product. In our research we have concluded that hair loss is hair loss and yes, over
a period of time the longer you wait to address the problem, can result in a longer period of time to see
results because every case is individual. On an average however, clients see significant results any
where from two weeks to two and a half months. Even our clients that have had hair loss for a long
period of time see results in this time frame and these results have been documented through
photographs and testimonials.
Now results can vary from slight to significant but the results are visible. The science behind it is the
same; hair loss is usually caused by some inflammation of the hair follicle, which causes a loss of
circulation, which in turn causes the loss of nutrients. Once you re-establish those connections, once
you re-establish the circulation by giving the hair the nutrients it needs for growth, the hair comes back.
How Does The Hair Tea Work?
Straightening of the hair through chemical processing is achieved through absorption of the chemical
into the hair follicle. As this absorption takes place the bonds of the hair are broken down to achieve a
straightened look. If you want your hair very straight it is necessary to leave the product on longer, the
longer it’s on the hair the more the chemical is absorbed. Whether our hair is wavy, kinky or curly to
achieve straightening the hair must be broken down during the chemical process. Hair’s resilience
enables it to stand through the bond break down process for a period of time. What happens over a
period of continual chemical processing though is the integrity of the hair is compromised and the life
expectancy of the hair is lost. This happens with any chemical process whether it through straightening
or color.
The HerbalNature™ hair tea is water-based but it infuses itself to the outside of the hair. It replenishes
nutrients to the hair that are lost due to over-processing which results in a compromise of the hair’s
integrity. Keratin (protein that hair is made of) gives your hair elasticity that enables your hair to
bounce instead of pop when it’s being combed and maintained. When the hair is relaxed, braided,
weaved and over-processed daily with heat through straightening, flat ironing, blow-drying and hot
curling, the hair’s integrity becomes compromised and the molecular structure of the hair is broken
down causing weak, thin, dry, shedding and damaged hair.
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea helps to strengthen and rebuild the hair. Unfortunately the existing hair is not
able to return to its original virgin state, but with regular use of the tea you will be able to strengthen and
increase the life expectancy of the hair.
Another advantage of incorporating the use of HerbalNature™ Hair Tea into your hair care regimen is
the benefits it has on the hair if you decide to transition your hair from chemicals back to its natural
state. The tea bonds with the outside cuticle to strengthen the new growth under the surface of the scalp
that has been affected by previous chemical treatments. Using HerbalNature™ Hair Tea along with
HerbalNature™ Hair Oil will accelerate the rate of growth while retraining and retexturing the new
growth of the hair. This will make the transition from chemical to natural hair an easier, quicker process
giving you healthier, stronger more manageable hair without having to lose the length of your hair.
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea is effective for client’s that experience excessive shedding (loose anagen
syndrome which means loose hair syndrome) which can happen after anesthesia or taking certain
medications. The hair shaft (or hair strand) sits in the hair sheath (the hole which the hair strand fits
into) before it gets to the root bulb. The hair sheath is usually very snug around the hair. Certain health
conditions or medications can cause the hair sheath to become loose around the hair shaft, causing the
hair to be easily combed out. Using the hair tea can drastically reduce the loose hair syndrome by
actually tightening the sheath around the hair strand.
Recommended Uses for HerbalNature™ Hair Tea:
Braids
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea is excellent for persons who wear braids. Using the tea throughout the life of
the braids will enable your hair to retain its elasticity. The elasticity of our hair can be compared to the
elasticity of a rubber band. If you wrap a rubber band around a wad of cash and leave it there for a
period of time, when you remove the elastic band it would have lost some of its elasticity because it had
been put in a position of tension for a period of time. The next time you try to use the same rubber band
the integrity of the band would not the same, it will not give you the same resistance as it originally did
because the integrity would have been compromised by being stretched. When the hair is braided the
hair it is actually being pulled and stretched. The first thing most persons do upon taking the braids is
comb the hair. This is not the best thing to do, but if you use the tea throughout the life of the braids and
immediately before taking them out, you drastically reduce the potential of the hair popping which is
experienced more often than not when you initially comb the hair after wearing braids.
We all experience a normal shedding of the hair daily which amounts to approximately 50 to 100 strands
of hair. Shedding should not be confused with breakage. When hair sheds it comes out at the root.
When hair breaks what is happening is the hair is popping somewhere along the hair strand. Using the
hair tea will reduce the hair breakage.
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea should be used throughout the life of the braids. If you shampoo every one to
two weeks, after shampooing saturate your hair with the tea and let it air dry. Before you take your
braids out, make a batch of tea and completely saturate your entire head with the tea BEFORE you take
the braids out and let it dry. Then proceed to take the braids out. Shampoo the hair and apply a rich
cream conditioner. While the cream conditioner is in your hair, gently detangle the hair with a widetooth comb. After thoroughly rinsing the conditioner out apply another batch of tea to the hair,
completely saturating the hair. Squeeze any excess tea from the hair and gently towel blot dry. If your
hair is experiencing a considerable amount of damage and breakage, the hair tea can be sprayed on to
the braids several time a week and left to air dry.
Flat Ironing
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea is an excellent leave-in conditioner that infuses your hair with the nutrients it
needs to help your hair achieve strength and bounce. Nutrients are lost not only due to environmental
factors that the hair experiences but also through the many styling choices that we make regarding our
hair, particularly flat ironing. Using the HerbalNature™ Hair Tea and Hair Oil together will not only
help you to achieve hair growth but it will control frizz, add body and luster to your hair and let you
experience longer holding, silky straight styles when flat ironing. So it is our recommendation to use
them together even though you don’t have to.
You can use the HerbalNature™ hair tea every time you wash your hair. It is a LEAVE-IN conditioner
so it should be used after you’ve completed your shampooing and cream conditioning regimen.
Using HerbalNature™ Hair Oil and Tea Together
Both products were made to work in conjunction with one another however you can use them
separately. It is recommended that you use them together if you have chemically or color treated hair
and for anyone who is trying to accelerate the growth of their hair or re-grow hair that has been lost.
Many clients with chemically treated hair complain that their hair will only grow to a certain length (i.e.
shoulder, ear length) and then they feel that they have to clip it because it gets stringy, sheds or breaks.
This happens because chemicals greatly reduce the life-expectancy of the hair.
What we have found with our clients who chemically treat their hair and use HerbalNature™ Hair Oil
and Hair Tea together, is that they are experiencing hair strengthening and an increase in the hair’s life
expectancy. Conjunctively treating their hair with the Hair Tea and the Hair Oil accelerates the rate at
which the hair grows. For persons with chemically treated hair who are seeking to grow their hair
longer, we recommend using both products together.
Our male clients very rarely use the tea because they do not have chemically treated hair for the most
part, but male clients who wear braids can use HerbalNature™ Hair Tea along with the Hair Oil to
strengthen and improve the texture of their hair.
How Should The Products Be Used?
Hair Tea – Use every time you shampoo. We recommend using an Organic Shampoo that does not
contain Sodium Laureth or Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and a good rich cream conditioner. Because the
Hair Tea is NOT a detangler but a hair strengthener, we recommend you detangle your hair while you
have a good, rich cream conditioner on the hair. Detangle it gently by starting at the ends of the hair and
working your way up to the scalp then thoroughly rinse the cream conditioner out of your hair. Gently
squeeze out the excess water and proceed to saturate the hair with HerbalNature™ Hair Tea. Squeeze
any excess tea from the hair and gently towel blot dry.
You can spray your hair in between, washes but be sure to use the HerbalNature™ Hair Tea every time
you shampoo.
Hair Oil – For someone seeking re-growth or accelerated hair growth use the hair oil 3 times a week
(every other day). Using it every day is not necessary because at 3 times a week you are getting exactly
what the hair and scalp need. A one ounce jar will give you a 8 to 10 week supply. For persons who are
working on just a spot where hair has been lost, you can apply it to the spot every day, as some of our
clients have done, and apply to the rest of the scalp 3 times a week. Some of our clients, after achieving
their desired results, reduce their usage to once a week or after every shampoo, but our recommendation
is to use the HerbalNature™ Hair Oil 3 times a week. HerbalNature Hair Oil should be applied VERY
lightly to the scalp. To apply gently rub finger over oil (do NOT “scoop” your finger should be shiny
not clumpy) and apply lightly to the scalp. There should be NO OILY OR GREASY residue after
application. Oil penetrates immediately and completely when used properly. A healthy scalp needs to
breath.
What Are The Effective Ingredients In HerbalNature™ Products?
HerbalNature™ Hair Tea – Blend of several different herbs that strengthen the hair. Hair is made up
of the protein Keratin. Keratin needs Silica and Cystine to gain strength and produce elasticity;
normally we produce these through the consumption of foods. However the use of medications or a lack
of nutrition in our diets can cause the body to be depleted of nutrients. HerbalNature™ Hair Tea,
through trans-dermal application, allows the hair follicles to receive these organic and natural sources of
Silica and Cystine to produce strong hair.
Our nutrient rich blend contains organic horsetail and organic coltsfoot which contain a very high
content of Silica and Cystine, some of the highest in the plant kingdom. Lemongrass and Rosemary are
also a part of the blend and these essential oils increase circulation and decrease excessive shedding.
Excessive shedding is not to be confused with the normal 50 to 100 strands of hair that we lose every
day. Excessive shedding constitutes anything in excess where your hair is shedding at a higher rate than
new hair is coming in.
The product also contains an organic source of Zinc and Copper and these two minerals, in some cases,
can actually prevent or reverse graying of the hair. The Hair tea is high in vitamins A, B, C & E and all
of these vitamins are building blocks to build strong and healthy hair.
The integrity and effectiveness of HerbalNature™ hair products is attributed to the process through
which the product is made in addition to our use of the highest quality organic and wild crafted
ingredients. We use carrier oils such as grapeseed and hazelnut that naturally contain vitamins A, B, C
& E which are excellent for hair and skin. Additionally these oils are best for transdermal application
since the molecular structure of these oils are small enough to allow for deepest penetration through both
layers of skin.
In order to preserve the delicate composition of the organic compounds in our products, we do not use
metal or plastic during preparation or packaging. Our ingredients are gently infused using time proven,
ancient processes and they are made in small hand-made batches as they are not mass produced.
HerbalNature™ hair products are minimally processed because we appreciate that over-processing
causes a loss in nutritional value. The reason why the tea is steamed during preparation and not boiled is
overheating the product would cause the molecular structure to be damaged and nutritional content to be
lost.
HerbalNature™ Hair Oil - Our special oil blends are infused with herbs that work synergistically with
the essential oils. HerbalNature™ Hair Oil contains 18 barks, roots, seeds, flowers and essential oils that
are blended to increase circulation and to provide the nutrients that the hair needs to grow healthy, long
and strong. While circulation is being drawn to the follicle, your hair is actually absorbing the nutrients
that are in the ingredients. As circulation is increased, vital nutrients are being provided; nutrients like
Silica and Cystine, trace minerals like Zinc and Copper that keep the hair from graying, herbs like
Southernwood, lemongrass and rosemary that increase circulation and are known to help the hair to
grow longer, faster and stronger.
The oils used to infuse the herbs are hazelnut, grapeseed and jojoba. These oils are specifically selected
because of their small molecular structure which allows them to penetrate both layers of skin (hair
scalp), thereby enabling it to penetrate and reach the hair follicle.
Carrier oils are intended to “carry” or distribute the ingredients of a topical preparation for the skin.
However, carrier oils can also become “barrier” oils. This happens when the oil will not allow
penetration beneath the skin as is the case of petroleum and mineral oil based preparations for the hair
and scalp. Consider that stylist generally apply petroleum on the skin of their clients to prevent the
absorption of chemicals beyond the hair line.
Many hair products currently on the market contain mineral and/or petroleum oil which are not good for
the hair or scalp. The molecular structure of these oils is so large that the product sits on top of the
scalp, clogging pores not allowing any nutritional or beneficial value beneath the scalp. These oils also
leaves the hair with an undesirable oily, greasy residue. There are products that contain healthy oils that
are high in nutritional value like coconut and olive oil, however the molecular structure of these oils are
not ideal for optimum skin absorption which leaves them unable to penetrate as deeply into the skin.
Many of these oils may act as humectants (drawing and holding moisture in the skin) by assisting to
hydrate the skin from the outside but they do not have the ability to carry healing beneath it. They may
not be the best oils if you are seeking a trans-dermal product to achieve hair growth.
