St. George’s Day &
Shakepeare’s Birthday—April 23rd
This Sunday it is Saint George’s Day—
we dressed in red and white to celebrate. It is also Shakespeare’s birthday (April 23rd 1564). Just before the
Easter holiday, during Shakespeare
week, we all looked at ‘A Midsummer
Night’s Dream’ and produced displays, artwork, costumes and creative
writing. It was a wonderful introduction to the work of one of our
greatest playwrights and poets.
