Transforming Community Neurology
The NHS England Community Neurology Project Conference
The NHS Five Year Forward View sets out a plan for patient-centred,
integrated care which is delivered locally. This has major implications for
people living with neurological conditions and those who provide services
for them.
The NHS England Community Neurology Project is facilitating a coordinated programme of work to improve care and outcomes for people
living with neurological conditions. A commissioning brief will be published
in May 2016.
This conference will outline the content of the commissioning brief, cover
developments in community neurology and finish with workshops to decide
future directions and groups to initiate action and secure funding.
Speakers will include:
Zam Cader, Community Neurology Project Lead and Consultant Neurologist, John Radcliffe Hospital,
Oxford
Chris Kipps, Consultant Neurologist and Honorary Clinical Lecturer, Southampton University
